Calvary Christian Academy – ESE Panel

More to explorer

Challenging Behaviors in the Classroom

Early childhood educators (ECE) are often our child’s first teachers outside the family. They nurture curious minds and help our youngest in building social skills that go way beyond Kindergarten.

Summer Exceptional Educators Training

A big thanks to the Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization and the district for their year-round commitment to teacher training and our students.

The school year is in full swing!

Parents have questions: Does my child need extra reading support? Does he have ADHD? Do I need a new psychoeducational evaluation? What about college accommodations?  What’s executive functions?

It was great to be part of the CCA’s ESE Panel which included Special Education staff and specialists in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Pathology.  Parents had the attention of team and got the chance to ask their questions directly. Engaged parents make a difference. When parents, schools and learning professionals work together as a team to support kids’ learning, that’s a win!
